At the end of the boulevard, the canal that feeds the castle moats turns into a lake. There is a huge park on both side of the lake with cafes, a boat rental and a lot of walking trails. Since last year, we also have a fancy new sand beach. The park was full of people lazing around, tanning, relaxing having a picnic and swimming – it’s true.
This spring is unreal so far. Even here I sat out on a patio yesterday downtown for lunch! It said in the news that Germany was breaking all sorts of records too. I think the “only” one we’ve broken is warmest temperature for this early in the year. Glory glory – however clouds and rain in our forecast starting tomorrow already… But it’s still been so nice!!
We are in for a bit cooler weekend with possible showers as well. But if we do get a bit or rain and the sun returns it will be full on green in no time. We are loving spring like this.
