Revisiting German National Museum

We set out to revisit the German National Museum today.   It is hard to be impressed, especially after seeing The Louvre and The British Museum in London, yet we remain charmed by the German National Museum in Nuremberg.  It has a lot of really amazing exhibits, it is quite big, yet small enough to really see it in a day.  We constantly  find new things to look at and still discover things and rooms we have not yet seen and explored.  This really is quite a wonderful place with so much to offer we are going to be back here again soon.

I love that the museum itself is a work of art, I can see why you might miss things with only one visit, so much to see

You are right the museum, like any other museum is a maze of hallways and rooms all connected together. This one has a number of purpose built buildings but also it encompasses an old church and a monastery which too are connected to the rest of the buildings. In the large courtyard, about the size of a football field, they are going 5 stories down to built even more exposition areas. Neat place indeed.
