Saturday Bazar

No visit to Antalya would be complete without a visit to a traditional bazar which is where a lot of people come to shop for everything from fruits and vegetables and spices to clothing, purses, glasses, dishes and just about everything else you can imagine. There is a lot of yelling and haggling.  Just about everything you can imagine, other than electronic goods you can get at the bazar.  The best part of it for us were the traditional Turkish Kebabs which we all had.  It is very noisy and colourful and really a lot of fun to explore. In a scorching heat of  day people drink hot tea to cool off – it is astonishing how hot it gets here, and yet people don’t slow down they just keep going with their daily lives.

Wow, so colourful. The fruits and veggies are huge, are they organic, do they taste awesome?

I am not sure about organic but I can tell you this – they tasted like no fruit we ever had….
