Road Trip

We are setting off on a little holiday with Anna’s parents.  First we are driving  to Sankt Georgen im Attergau, in Austria where Anna’s dad begun his journey to Canada some 35 years ago.  We are then going to spent 2 days wondering around Salzburg, a day in Ljubljana, Slovenia and then off to Treviso, Italy for 5 days.  The weather is looking good so hopefully this will be a nice trip with short dives in between the cities.

Anna said you booked in Rome with the place we had recommended… At some point I’d be interested in seeing a link to the apt. We’re going back for Xmas and also need a place … Meanwhile could you imagine the coincidence if you picked the place we stayed at last time?? 😉 Anyhoo – like I said – happy travels. Say hi to everyone.

We booked a place called Milvio New York though SleepinItaly.com seems nice, should be close to some attractions and bringing the car into Rome is going to be a huge hustle but it is what it is… we will need to manage it.

Looks like it’s kinda on the outskirts (or at least not totally central)… and thus to me looks like you’d be able to park the car there for the duration? This is where we stayed & likely will again at Xmas! 🙂

That looks great, we figured that after our ‘hotel’ in London we would have to try really hard to find a worse place to stay than Hotel Europa.

Life is too short for rotten hotels.
