The beauty of the Louvre, or at least one of them, is that you can see a lot of stuff from any particular part of the world all in one place.  The Louvre, does not have just one of something, it has 10s if not 100’s of these things.  Be it old Roman vases or pottery or  Egyptian mummies or sarcophagi or figurines of angles, or bronze era jewellery, or pots, or forks or whatever have you, the Louvre has it, and it has plenty of it in every size, shape, colour and pose.  Sometimes, as we stroll through the endless halls we wonder if there is anything left in the world that the Louvre does not own yet?
