Gardaland

Today we are doing an activity chosen by the children. It turns out that our Legoland Annual Pass also gives us a free one time access to Gardaland which is about 8 min drive from where we are staying. The entrance fee to Gardaland is €138 for a one day family pass. The place was great, the lineups a bit too long in the morning but with lots of trees and water misters it was nice and cool. Mama chickened out from all the rides – apparently still traumatized by the Polar Explorer ride at Legoland last year. She did, however, manage to tame a beast; no, not the one within telling her to buy more shoes, a four legged beast on the carrousel. I tried the Blue Tornado and stayed away from the remaining “attractions” and food for the majority of the day to allow my stomach to settle. Great day, but the happy music for 6 straight hours was too much to handle for some (Anna).
