After the morning walk and lunch we came back to the hotel to check in, and to relax for a bit before round two of our exploration. We walked around the Tiergarten park and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Climbed the Victory Tower, and strolled down the Embassy street, had a dinner and came back to the hotel at 10 pm absolutely beat. Tomorrow we do it again.
What was going on at the Brandenburg gate? I see that the church on Ku’dammstrasse is still under renovations. It was completely covered when we were there last year. 🙁 Also – good job NOT getting a Starbucks in a single pic. As I recall they are EVERYWHERE!
That church was supposed to be finished last year, I guess they are running a bit late with it. There was some sort of rally here yesterday, there is always something going on here, it seems half the roads are closed for construction and the other half for demonstrations! After Seattle I think Berlin has the highest concentration of Starbucks – they are everywhere.
