Back To Garda

We are actually not stopping here to extend our holiday.  We simply stopped here on the way home because we wanted to get back to one of our favourite restaurants – Quertze.  We were too late for lunch and too early for dinner so we had a lunch by the lake,  a little stroll by the lake and we stopped by to get some fresh fruit, 3kg of fresh cherries for €10.00 and off we set off on our way home.  Garda is really just like Germany except everyone here speaks German with Italian accent – it sounds hilarious really,  and we love it.

This trident was a sign! I would see two Maseratties that day!

I lift my espresso and this trident appears – it was a sign! I would see a beautiful Maserati later on that day!

God I love Garda. It’s the best.

True I used to think that Lake Louise was stunning and it is – but Garda is just so much more, I am sure Como is the same.

We’ve driven down the one side of Como and it certainly looked glorious, but haven’t yet stayed there.

We have not even made it there yet – there just isn’t the time it seems.
