Goldenes Posthorn

We are going to file this under culinary adventures. We could not decide where to go out and celebrate Kasia’s and Volker’s new purchase. Today they acquired a beautiful Audi S5 Cabrio. We went to celebrate at one of their favourite local restaurants. Furthering my quest to find a suitable alternative to eating two main courses in Italy, I think I found a good German replacement. From the grill at Goldenes Posthorn, 6 Nuremburg sausages, 2 minute schintzels, order of sauerkraut and a side order of potato salad. However, we start with 3 salty pretzels and 1/2 litre of non-alcoholic beer. After dinner, a mandatory two scoops of gelato. What was I thinking?!

Goldenes Posthorn is an old restaurant, that plates its meals in old copper bawls and on old zinc plates. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing.
