The Great Belt Bridge

On the way to Copenhagen we get to drive on the Storebæltsforbindelsen, or the Great Belt Bridge. It is 18km long bridge that goes over a part of the Baltic Sea!  It is not cheap to take it but it is very fast and convenient.  The construction of the fixed link became the biggest building project in the history of Denmark costing  DKK 21.4 billion or about $5.5B.  This is an amazing piece of architecture, that is definitely worth the experience and we loved it.

Hey there, I know you are travelling, not to bother you, but I think this bridge has a cool “A”. I also thought you posted pics of the arc de triomphe on a previous tour, which is a cool “N” but also see you are taking some cool doorways on your current trip, happy travels! 🙂
