ICE Train

It’s official.  We are finally going to go and pick up our car.  We booked the train to Nordhausen for this coming Thursday.  We are taking the ICE train which is the German equivalent of the bullet train.  We are looking forward this experience. After all, its been at least 15 years since I took the train, and together as a family we have never gone on the train before.  So as a treat – we are going first class – we can’t wait.

Excited… hope the wifi is good in Köln so that I can see the update after Thursday, but BEFORE Wednesday. Have fun – are you going straight to Poland from there? ALSO: sorry for clearly spamming your blog page -_- I’ll try to stop.

Also… a tremendous amount of stops from Kässel – Nordhausen. What gives?

WE are taking the local freight train to Nordhausen so lots of stops but it all part of the charm.

Well the update will have to rely on Anna’s iPhone so that 3G better work! Otherwise no update until we get to some free WIFI place. And no you are not spamming!

I love that you are taking a freight train. Words cannot express. I’m gonna need a lot of pictures from that stretch!
