Sant’Anna in Camprena

Sant’Anna in Camprena is in the heart of Tuscany – about 6km from Pienza.  It is a monastery from the 15th century perched on the top of hill with spectacular views of the rolling Tuscan hills.  The buildings are beautiful, the garden is huge and the food is simply amazing.  Having said that this place would be nothing if it was not for the most wonderful hosts – Ornella and Stefano.  This is by far the best Agriturismo we stayed at and honestly can’t wait to tell everyone about it and be back sooner rather than later.  What an amazing find and a great place this is.

Beautiful. For some reason the first picture of Anna behind the lemon trees, and then the orange tree, made me think of Posh Nosh. I can hear Simon extolling the virtues of these fruits, shipped express courier, of course.

Oh yes, this place only servers well educated and happy lemons! Well spotted.
